Hi, I’m Meredith Noble. I live in Toronto and work as a User Experience Consultant at a fantastic company called Usability Matters.
I’ve been a bit of a website recluse for the past, oh, 7 years? The truth is that I had my own site from my teens into my early 20s. I had dozens and dozens of articles on it, hundreds of blog posts… and then I entered engineering school. At that point, after infecting all my friends with the self-publishing bug, and after about 7 years of constantly thinking “ooh, I should write about that on meredi.com!”, I began to lose interest myself. I felt like I’d said everything I wanted to say for a while.
Why am I doing this again, you ask? Honestly, it’s because I miss writing, and I miss connecting with people in a long-form way. Twitter is great (I am meredi there too), but 140 characters (even times 2 or 3 tweets) just doesn’t cut it for a lot of topics.
I expect to write a lot about user experience and usability issues here, with a few personal items thrown in. We’ll see how it evolves and I’ll update this page accordingly…
Although an introvert, I really do love meeting great people, so don’t hesitate to get in touch.
